Personality:

Inteligent: Natsuki thinks and learns quickly. In her early years, this was mistaken by arrogance and convincement by her classmates, though it was never the case. 

Gentle/Selfless: She has a kind heart and always tries to do her best for others, always putting them above herself. However, even her kindness has limits, she tries to help others as she can, but she won't do all of their work.

Moralistic: Natsuki takes rules very seriously, and doesn't like any rulebreakers. She won't hesitate to confront and punish those who don't obey the law.

Stubborn/Determined: She's definitely not one to give up easily. Once Natsuki puts something in her mind, it's very hard to make her go back. 

 Shy: Despite being able to communicate well while at her job - during her classes and with superiors, she can be very shy in casual meetings or conversations. She rarely starts out conversations herself, but depending on the subject and who she's talking to she can maintain the conversation quite well.

Aloof: She's always been distant to most people due to her fear of hurting them. Even though she has good self control now, her fear is not entirely gone, so she prefers not to stay too close to others.

History

Natsuki's father was a born werewolf, and her mother was formely a human who had been transformed into a werewolf by her own father. He was promised to a female werewolf through an arranged marriage, but his heart belonged to someone else. This woman, who James fell in love with, was a mere human, and to his family, having a relationship with a human was a disgrace, since they believed in the supremacy of the werewolf species. They lived away from the city, in their feral form, never or hardly ever shifting to human appearance. James was the next heir, but to his family's discontent, he wasn't like them. He liked being in the city, interacting with other people and seeing everything that life in the forest didn't offer. Eventually in his explorations, he met a pretty young woman, Erina. They ended up falling in love with each other. When the marriage arrangement came to James, he was left with no choices. He didn't want to marry this brute female, she looked nothing like his beloved. James decided he would run away with Erina, but as he proposed the change to her and exposed his true form, she got scared and rejected him. He was infuriated, knowing that he'd have nothing now. His family was sure to ban him, but he wouldn't mind it as long as he was together with Erina. No, he would stay with her, no matter what. He forcefully transformed her into a werewolf and impregnated her. They moved to the woods and lived there until the birth of their daughter, Natsuki. 

One day, Erina ran away with her werewolf child, back to the city. Taking care of a werewolf child wasn't easy for Erina; at the beginning, it felt like she was taking care of a pet who could actually understand her. It could be quite mean to make such comparison, but this went through her mind quite a few times, even if she was a werewolf herself, because she never felt like one. Her child also made her remember the last terrible moments she spent with the one she used to love, but Natsuki was her daughter nonetheless, and so Erina promised herself to love her despite everything.

Years passed and Natsuki grew. She looked like her mother, except for the eyes... she had her father's eyes. She started attending school after her puberty, she no longer needed to be homeschooled, and her mother thought it would be good for Natsuki to interact with children her age. However, she didn't make any friends in her school. She was liked by the teachers, who quickly noticed how smart she was, but the students thought she was convinced and a freak. Her mother didn't have much money, so most of the times, Natsuki didn't have the best of appearances. 

A certain day she was going back from school, she was approached by a strange man telling he was her father. Her mother never mentioned him. She listen to the man talk with curiosity, but slightly suspicious at first. However, by the end of their conversation, she was convinced it was him. He asked for her and her mother's forgiveness, even though he knew Erina wouldn't forgive him. He knew there was nothing he could do to compensate, but he thought at least he could help by giving the money he enherited to the two of them. He came to marry that werewolf to keep his rights to the throne, and now that his father was gone, it was indeed his. And besides, that brute female had proven easier to manipulate then James at first thought. He could do as he pleased, but all that was in his mind was seeing his only daughter to grow up and be happy. 

When Natsuki spoke with her mother about meeting who was supposedly her father, Erina got infuriated. Unable to control her rage, she was forcefully transformed. In the end, Natsuki hid the fact he had given them his money. Natsuki's mother was incapable of living like that, her job was too stressful, the money wasn't enough, she couldn't handle her anger crisis, and eventually hurt Natsuki, slashing her daughter's shoulder. In the end, she comitted suicide.

Her mother didn't leave much money, so in order to finish her studies, Natsuki had to use her father's heritage, even though she wasn't very pleased with the idea. After she graduated college in her 20s, she started teaching. English, mathematics, history, whatever she could. She taugh math in a small school for years, but after some time that place started to give her some problems. The school's principal had hired another history teacher - a vampire, and for some reason Natsuki didn't understand, this vampire didn't like her. A rivalry was created between the two, and a deal was made. They were both responsible for two classes each. Whoever had the highest number of approved students would win the deal, and the loser would have to leave the city. Natsuki was quite confident with her teaching skills, but she lost. She found out the vampire had cheated on her, but the conditions were clear nonetheless. She left, and sought a new place to move.
